Applications in alternative accessible formats, and assistance in completing the application, are available upon request made to the Director of Human Resources at 912-478-6947. Pre-employment inquiries are made only regarding an applicant’s ability to perform the essential duties of the position.

Pre-employment physical examinations are required only for those positions for which a bona fide job-related physical requirement exists, and are given to all persons entering the position only after conditional job offers have been extended. Medical records are kept separate and confidential.

Reasonable accommodation is available to all employees and applicants, and work sites are accessible to the disabled. All employment decisions are based on the merits of the situation in accordance with defined criteria, not the disability of the individual.

Qualified individuals with disabilities are entitled to equal pay and other forms of compensation (or changes in compensation) as well as fairness in job assignments, classifications, organizational structures, position descriptions, lines of progression and seniority lists. All benefits of employment, whether provided or administered directly by Georgia Southern University or another entity on behalf of Georgia Southern University, are accessible to all employees without regard to disability.
