Surrounded by towering Georgia pines, East Georgia State College is centrally located in the heart of the state. Often referred to as the “Golden Triangle,” the campus sits within convenient driving distance of Augusta, Savannah, and Macon, making it an ideal location for meetings, camps, performances, and special events.
A Central Location for Meetings and Events
Thanks to its central Georgia location, the East Georgia Campus is a convenient and accessible destination for organizations seeking flexible, affordable event space. The campus regularly hosts academic conferences, youth camps, performances, workshops, and community gatherings.
Flexible Campus Event Spaces
A wide range of reservable facilities is available to support events of all sizes, including:
- Meeting and multi-function rooms
- Classrooms
- Athletic and recreation spaces
- Dining facilities
- Residence halls for overnight accommodations
Meeting rooms comfortably accommodate groups of 12 to 50 participants, while larger spaces are available for expanded events.
Multi-Function and Performance Venues
Multi-function event spaces are located throughout campus, including the Jean Anderson Morgan Student Activities Center, which offers open, adaptable areas suitable for receptions, plated meals, exhibits, and large gatherings. Some configurations can accommodate up to 250 guests.
The campus also features the Luck Flanders Gambrell Auditorium, a premier venue for performances, lectures, and special events, with seating for up to 470 attendees.
