Accelerated Bachelor’s to Master’s Program

Interested in a career in Public History? Why not get there sooner?

The Department of History offers hands-on master’s programs that equip you for success and give you the edge in a competitive job market. If you’re ambitious, organized and ready for a challenge, our accelerated bachelor’s to master’s (ABM) pathway streamlines this route — and prepares you to take flight.

Once accepted into the pathway program, you’ll begin graduate coursework during your senior year while satisfying the final requirements for your bachelor’s degree at the same time. This format allows you to complete your undergraduate and master’s degrees together in as little as five years. You’ll also save money and avoid the disruption of starting over at a new university.
