Optional Areas of Emphasis

History majors define their trajectory by selecting either the intellectual flexibility of the general History degree or one of three focused areas of emphasis in Legal History, Military History, or Public History. Regardless of the path chosen, every Georgia Southern History graduate leaves our program equipped with the critical thinking and deep human understanding required to lead, innovate, and make a meaningful impact in today’s complex world.
