The Office of Innovation and Educational Research utilizes partnerships in surrounding communities to broaden exposure for students by offering access to STEM learning opportunities and supporting teachers in implementing high-impact practices in their classrooms.

The office supports professional development for STEM teachers through both online and face-to-face programming. By developing collaborative partnerships with school districts, community colleges, and universities across Southeast Georgia, the office works to strengthen the STEM pipeline.

Improving transitions between educational institutions and increasing engagement through real-world, student-centered pedagogy prepares students for future STEM-related job opportunities.
