Georgia Southern’s Applied Research and Evaluation Graduate Certificate is a convenient way to supplement your education and amplify your career options. While working on your certificate, you will develop fundamental research strategies and apply this knowledge in various situations.
The courses in the certificate provide you with hands-on experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting data, as well as how to prepare findings for research reports. The certificate also provides students with a high level of flexibility and convenience. The program of study is fully online, consisting of five 3-credit hour graduate-level courses.

The following are required for all applicants:
- Complete requirements for a Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by an appropriate institutional accreditor.
- Present a cumulative 3.0 (4.0 scale) grade point average or higher on all undergraduate and graduate work combined.
- Submit a personal statement of purpose, approximately 500 words, that identifies the applicant’s reasons for pursuing the certificate program.
