Georgia Southern University has launched a national search for its next Dean of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (CBSS) in Academic Affairs. Reporting directly to Provost Avinandan (Avi) Mukherjee, Ph.D., Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the next dean will provide strategic leadership for one of the University’s nationally recognized colleges, advancing academic excellence, research, and community partnerships impact across Georgia and beyond.
About the Position
The Dean serves as the chief executive and principal ambassador for the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, providing strategic leadership and stewardship of the College’s approximately $15.3 million operating budget.
