
Georgia Southern University hosted its second annual “Day at the Capitol” event on Tuesday, Feb. 3 in Atlanta. Representatives from the University’s academic, research and athletics divisions, and from student organizations were on hand to speak to state lawmakers

Carter Recital Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 7:30 p.m. This family-friendly performance is free, open to the public and hosted by the University’s Southern Saxophones ensemble.

Georgia Southern University today donated $1,500 to the Bulloch Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). The gift, a result of the University winning the 2014 Chancellor’s Fall Classic Charity Cup golf tournament in Athens, Georgia, was presented by President Brooks A. Keel to Lainie Jenkins, executive director of CASA.
