Georgia Southern University’s IT Purchasing team helps faculty and staff buy technology hardware, software, and related services in a cost-effective, policy-compliant way. All technology purchases must follow university and USG Board of Regents procedures and be completed through eProcurement.

What’s Included

“Technology” refers to any device or service that connects to the campus network, stores or processes data, controls electronic systems, or performs computations.

How to Purchase

  • Standard Purchases: Select pre-approved devices and software in eProcurement.
  • Non-Standard Purchases: Submit a MyHelp ticket for review and approval.

Policies & Resources

The IT Procurement Policy requires all purchases to meet security, compatibility, and planning standards. Approval from the Chief Information Officer is required before issuing purchase orders.
