Community Health Resource Project (CHRP)

The Community Health Resource Project (CHRP) is collaborating with rural and underserved counties in Southeast Georgia to identify and map health resources that promote positive health outcomes. Health resources aren’t just your doctor and dentist, they are also parks and recreation, healthy food, housing, senior services, education, environmental services, healthcare, daycare, disability services, animal/veterinary services, transportation, social services, public safety, and agricultural services. In addition, the data we are collecting for each partner county can help support health workforce development.

Health Kiosks in Rural Georgia

Health kiosks are designed to put medical supplies and testing in easy-to-access vending machines.

We are placing kiosks at libraries in rural communities.

We will explore how health kiosks can improve health for rural residents. Insights gained will inform whether health kiosks could benefit other rural Georgia communities.
