- August 4 Academic Year Begins
- August 8 Armstrong Campus – Operation Move-In for First Year Students (University Housing Move-In by timeslot appointments). Move-In continues through August 12.
- August 8 Statesboro Campus – Operation Move-In begins for all Students (University Housing Move-In by timeslot appointments). Move-In continues through August 12.
- August 13 Fee Payment Deadline for Fall 2025 (First Day of University Classes)
- August 13-18 Full Term, Drop/Add, Ends at 11:59 P.M. on August 18
- September 1 Labor Day Holiday – Administrative offices closed – No classes
- September 2 Cancellation of Fall Classes for Non-Payment, Full Term and Minimester I
- October 28 Full Term, Last day to withdraw without academic penalty
- November 24-29 Thanksgiving Holidays for students, Residence halls open – Administrative offices open November 24-26, closed November 27-29 for Thanksgiving Holidays
- December 3 Full Term, Last Day of Classes.
- December 4 Study Day
- December 5-11 Full Term, Final Exams
- December 12 Residence Halls Close at noon (non-graduates)
- December 12 Winter Break for students begins
- December 13 Commencement – Enmarket Arena in Savannah at 10:00 A.M. Ceremony for undergraduate candidates in all colleges, any campus
- December 14 12:00 P.M. Residence Halls close for students participating in the Savannah graduation ceremony.
- December 16 Commencement – Paulson Stadium in Statesboro at 2:00 P.M. Ceremony for undergraduate candidates in all colleges, any campus
- December 17 12:00 P.M. Residence Halls close for undergraduate students participating in the Statesboro graduation ceremony.
- December 17 Commencement – Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center in Statesboro at 6:00 P.M. Ceremony for graduate candidates in all colleges, any campus
- December 18 12:00 P.M. Residence Halls close for graduate students participating in the Statesboro graduation ceremony.
- December 25 – January 1 Winter Break/New Year’s Day Holiday – Administrative offices closed

Spring 2025 Important Dates
- January 9 Residence hall check-in, 12:00 P.M. at the Residence halls

- January 12 Full Term, Classes Begin, Attendance Verification must be completed on the first class meeting day

- January 16 $100 Late Registration Fee begins
- January 16 Cancellation of Spring Classes for Non-Payment
- January 19 Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday – Administrative offices closed – No classes
- March 16-21 Spring break for students – Administrative offices open – Residence halls open
- March 23 Early Registration for Fall 2026 begins (Students should view WINGS for individual date and time)
- April 3 Full Term, Last day to withdraw without academic penalty
- May 4 Full Term, Last Day of Classes
- May 5-9 Full Term, Final Exams
- May 10 Statesboro residence halls close for non-graduating students, 12:00 P.M.
- May 10 Armstrong residence halls close for non-graduating students, 12:00 P.M.
