Armstrong Campus Chorale and Vocal Chamber Ensemble perform at 27th annual Memorial Concert

The Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus University Chorale and Vocal Chamber will perform in honor of J. Harry Persse, Ph.D., at the J. Harry Persse Memorial Concert on Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The concert is held annually to celebrate the legacy of J. Harry Persse, Ph.D., who was a musician, composer and educator at Armstrong State College in Savannah from 1965 to 1988.

Georgia Southern to host free screening of ‘Paper Tigers,’ Q&A on school discipline and students’ emotional learning

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, Georgia Southern University College of Education will host a free screening of “Paper Tigers,” an award-winning documentary that follows a year in the life of six students in an alternative high school. The screening, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 6 p.m. in University Hall, room 156, on the Armstrong Campus.
