Maj. Laura McCullough has been appointed Interim Chief of Police of the Georgia Southern University Office of Public Safety effective May 31, 2015 after longtime chief, Michael Russell announced his retirement.
Drown Named New Women’s Basketball Head Coach
Kip Drown, a 27-year head coaching veteran, became the seventh head coach of the Georgia Southern Lady Eagles basketball team on Tuesday, March 31. During a press conference held at the Gene M. Bishop Field House, Athletics Director Tom Kleinlein announced Drown’s hiring, noting that he brings needed experience to the program.
