This year’s Spring commencement at Georgia Southern was a special time for mother and son Beckie Lee May and Austin May, both of whom graduated with degrees from the University.

Georgia Southern University has selected Stephen Harmon, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Learning Technologies Division in the College of Education and Human Development at Georgia State University, and Carol H. Burrell, president and CEO of Northeast Georgia Health System, as the speakers for the 2016 Spring Commencement ceremonies on May 6 and 7.
