At Georgia Southern University, University Communications and Marketing (UCM) is a team of creative professionals, strategic thinkers and brand champions. We partner with colleges, departments and programs across the University to craft integrated marketing strategies that engage audiences, spark action and elevate the Georgia Southern brand.

From concept to completion, we offer expert consultation, writing, editing, design, fact-checking and proofreading services. Our work results in compelling, award-winning communications—whether it’s a direct mail campaign, social media strategy, news coverage or a television spot.

The University Communications and Marketing team at Georgia Southern has been recognized nationally and regionally for outstanding achievement in higher education marketing, design and storytelling. With more than 30 prestigious awards across digital media, video production, print design and campaign strategy, our work reflects a deep commitment to creative excellence and brand integrity.

Notable honors include multiple Communicator Awards for web series, magazine content and commercial production; CASE Awards for advertising and print design; Telly Awards for recruitment and branding videos; and ADDY Awards recognizing creative direction across print, digital and multimedia platforms.
