Campus safety at Georgia Southern is within closer reach with LiveSafe app
Classes at Georgia Southern University began today, and the University has launched the free LiveSafe app, a smartphone safety app enabling University Police to more quickly receive notification of and respond to incidents, further helping to keep the campus community safe and well. With a single touch, the LiveSafe app enables any member of the campus community with a smartphone to share GPS-tagged information with the University’s Office of Public Safety for a range of safety concerns.
‘2016 Faculty Exhibition’ Opens at Center for Art & Theatre

Patriot Award presented to University Provost Jean Bartels, Ph.D., R.N.

The Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation’s main fundraising arm, the Eagle Fund, which is the Foundation’s annual fund that directly benefits student-scholarships, grew more than 25% from the previous fiscal year.
