Armstrong Campus in Savannah

The Learning Commons is a multi-disciplinary, collaborative learning environment designed to foster the growth and sustainment of Georgia Southern's student learning communities. It supports student success by offering current and emerging technologies for in-building and at-home use, and student-centered programs and services that facilitate learning, engagement, and enrichment of the whole student.

Foy Music Library

Statesboro Campus

The Foy Music Library is located in the Foy Building and offers students electronic databases and books, printed books, CDs, and DVDs in support of their music education. Additionally, there are various score collections for students who are members of the Jazz Ensemble, Chorale, or Orchestra. Most recently, music scores for students invited to attend the Governor’s Honors Program have been added. The library provides ample seating for quiet study in a comfortable and beautiful setting overlooking the campus.

The Brain Booth located in the Georgia Southern library is an immersive experience for cultivating mind-body harmony, achieving stress relief, and enhancing performance.

The Libraries’ Mindfulness in Academia research team sustains the Brain Booth, an experiential space to learn about the mind-body connection, reduce stress, and optimize performance. The Brain Booth accommodates individual and class visits.
