Georgia Southern IT Purchasing has identified several standard printer and copier configurations to make selecting and purchasing the appropriate hardware easier.
How Do I Purchase a Printer or Copier?
Georgia Southern University offers a selection of standard printer equipment that meet University requirements for performance, compatibility, and support.
RICOH Printers
Black & White Printers
- RICOH SP 325DNw
- The Ricoh SP 325DNw is a 30 ppm high quality b/w laser printer that is simple to use and easy to maintain. It delivers all the basic features any small office or workgroup needs.
- RICOH SP 3510DN
- The Ricoh SP 3510DN is recommended for 1-29 users and 850 – 3,300 prints/month.
- RICOH SP 4510N
- The Ricoh SP 4510N is recommended for 10-30 users and up to 10,000 prints/month.
- RICOH SP 5200S
- The 47ppm Ricoh SP 5200S is recommended for up to 20 users and 5,000 – 25,000 prints/month
- RICOH SP 6430N
- The Ricoh SP 6430N is recommended for up to 25 users and 4,000 – 20,000 prints/month.
- RICOH SP 8300DN
- The Ricoh SP 8300DN is recommended for up to 100 users and 12,000 – 53,000 prints/month.
Black & White Multifunction Printers
- RICOH MP301SPF
- The RICOH MP301SPF is equipped with output speeds of 31 ppm. This device can be configured as a Desktop or Stand-alone MFD, and comes standard with copy/print/scan/fax capabilities. Intended to support a small office or workgroup.
- RICOH SP5210SR
- The RICOH SP5210SR b/w MFD (copy/print/scan) is equipped with output speeds of 52ppm and comes standard with a 50 page internal staple finisher designed for midsize workgroups.
Color Printers
- RICOH SP C252DN
- The 21ppm Ricoh SP C2420DN is recommended for 2-7 users and up to 3,000 prints/month.
- RICOH SP C252SF
- The 21ppm Ricoh SP C242SF can Print, Copy, Scan and Fax. It is recommended for 2-7 users and 3,000 pages/month.
- RICOH SG 3110DNw
- The 29 ppm Ricoh SG 311DNw is recommended for up to 10 users and up to 2,500 prints/month.
- RICOH C340dn
- The 26 ppm Ricoh SP C340DN is recommended for up to 10 users and 1,800 prints/month.
- RICOH SP C440DN
- The 45ppm Ricoh SP C440DN is recommended for up to 30 users and 3,200 – 20,000 prints/month.
- RICOH SP C840DN
- The 45ppm Ricoh SP C830DN is recommended for up to 30 users and 5,000 – 50,000 prints/month.
Color Multifunction Printers
- RICOH MPC305SPF
- The RICOH MPC305SPF is a 31ppm color MFD (copy/print/scan). This device can be configured as a Desktop or Stand-alone and is intended to support a small office or workgroup.
- RICOH MPC401SR
- The RICOH MPC401SR is a 42 ppm that offers color copy/print/scan and fax services in a compact floor-standing model design, along with a full range of advanced features and capabilities optimized for users without 11” x 17” output needs.
- RICOH MPC3503
- The RICOH MPC3503 is a 35ppm, Full-color printing/scanning MFD (copy/print/scan) designed for medium sized offices or workgroups and comes standard with a 100-Sheet ARDF.
- RICOH MPC4503
- The RICOH MPC4503 is a 45ppm color MFD (copy/print/scan) designed for larger sized offices or workgroups. The MP C4503SP and a 220-Sheet Single Pass Document Feeder (SPDF)
All Ricoh printers can be purchased using the Ricoh punchout through the Georgia First Marketplace in ePro. You must add a 2 year warranty to all Ricoh printers. If a 2 year warranty is not available then 2 – 1 year warranties are required.
