Spring Family Weekend 2026

February 6th through the 8th
Savannah, GA

Friday, February 6th

• 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Spring Family Weekend Check-In
  • Pick up your Family Weekend tickets, t-shirts, and other materials! Family members will need to present their Family Weekend tickets at each event, and students will need to present their Eagle ID.
  • Armstrong Student Union
• 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.: Savannah Gray Line Trolley Ghost Tour (Additional purchase required)
  • Journey aboard one of Savannah Gray Line’s trolleys through the shadowy streets of downtown Savannah, where restless spirits still linger! Hear chilling tales of tragedy, betrayal, and the city’s dark secrets as you roll past centuries-old squares and haunted landmarks.
    • Tickets not included in Family Weekend Package.
    • Tickets are $35 each. Ticket must also be purchased for your Georgia Southern student if they wish to attend. Ticket availability is reserved for the first 30 add-on registrants.
    • This tour allows children, but has PG-13 rated content
    • The tour will depart from Vitor Hall at 8:00 p.m. The tour will last approximately 90 minutes. 
    • All purchased tickets will be distributed by a Georgia Southern staff member on arrival.
    • WARNING: Strobe lights may be used.

Saturday, February 7th

• 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Spring Family Weekend Check-In
  • Pick up your Family Weekend tickets, t-shirts, and other materials! Family members will need to present their Family Weekend tickets at each event, and students will need to present their Eagle ID.
  • Armstrong Student Union
• 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Parent Family Council Meeting
  • Members of the Parent and Family Council will hold their monthly meeting. This event is open to only those elected members of the Parent and Family Council.
  • Solms Hall
• 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Parent and Family Association Bi-Annual Meeting
  • Parent & Family Association (PFA) members are invited to join us for our bi-annual meeting to hear Association updates and meet the Family Council and other Georgia Southern families!
  • Solms Hall
• 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Catered Lunch
  • Join us for a catered lunch along with music and activities for the entire family such as friendship bracelets, family photos, and paint your own canvas! If you are feeling lucky, join us for Family Bingo during this time as well. Prizes will be given! You can also shop in the University Store for some Georgia Southern gear!
  • Armstrong Memorial College Center Dining Room
• 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: Downtown Savannah Trolley Shuttle
  • Trolley is limited to 38 people at a time. Please plan accordingly. Guests will be transported on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • The trolley departs Armstrong Student Union at the following times:
    • 2:00 p.m.
    • 3:40 p.m.
    • 5:20 p.m.
    • 7:00 p.m.
    • 8:40 p.m.
  • The trolley departs Reynolds Square at the following times:
    • 2:50 p.m.
    • 4:30 p.m.
    • 6:10 p.m.
    • 7:50 p.m.
    • 9:30 p.m

Sunday, February 8

• 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Sunday Family Brunch
  • Join us for Brunch in the Galley along with music and activities for the entire family such as yard games, family photos, and more!  Brunch in the Galley is provided as part of your Family Weekend package. Students without a meal plan will need to purchase a meal if they did not purchase a full package.

Spring Family Weekend registrants are given access to use the Armstrong Rec Center throughout the weekend. Spring Family Weekend wristband must be shown for entry.

Spring Family Weekend Hours:

Friday, Feb. 9th 6:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M.

Saturday, Feb. 10th 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

Sunday, Feb. 11th 4:00 P.M – 9:00 P.M.

The University Store will also be open to allow parents and family members to purchase all the necessary game and spirit gear! If you are part of the Parent & Family Association, don’t forget to bring your membership card for your discount!

Friday Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
