Visit The Aquatics Center
The Aquatics Center at the RAC is one of the largest natatoriums in south Georgia at over 6,000 square feet and hosts over 40,000 swims each year. It’s the official home of Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving and hosts swimming competitions and events year round.

The Indoor Pool
The Aquatics Center’s indoor pool is the perfect destination for swimmers who can’t wait for the summer. This 25 yards by 25 meters competition lap pool has three lanes dedicated for open swim during regular hours and both one meter and three meter diving boards. The indoor pool is 81° Fahrenheit and is deepest at 13.5 feet.

The Indoor Whirlpool
There’s no better way to relax. This massive indoor whirlpool seats 25 and is always warm at 102° Fahrenheit.

The Outdoor Pool
The Aquatics Center’s outdoor pool is the most fun in the sun at Georgia Southern. This seasonal leisure pool has its own whirlpool, a swirling vortex, two basketball goals and a volleyball net. There’s plenty of space to hang out and lounge around the pool.

The Sauna
The dry sauna inside The Aquatics Center is an easy place to let out some steam and take it easy. Sauna uses are limited to 30 minutes at a time. The inside of the sauna is 150° Fahrenheit.

Swim Equipment & Gear
Enjoy kickboards, noodles, pull buoys, hand paddles, aqua jogger belts and water weights while you swim at the Aquatics Center.

Locker Room Facilities
The Aquatics Center provides men’s, women’s, and family locker rooms complete with showers and changing rooms.

The indoor pool’s deepest end is 13.5 feet, and the outdoor pool’s deepest end is 4.5 feet.
The outdoor pool is open from April to September each year and may change based on the weather.
No. Guests must bring their own towels. The green towels elsewhere from the RAC are for workouts and exercises and are not permitted in The Aquatics Center.
The indoor pool’s one meter and three meter diving boards are open to guests when the surrounding area is not in use.
The indoor pool’s starting blocks may only be used by Swim Club and Swim Team members under a coach’s supervision.
Yes! All CRI members are able to sign up for swim lessons with Member Services.
There is a 30 minute time limit in the sauna for the health and safety of guests, and the experience may vary per user. Please talk to a staff member for more details.
