Folio
Our Learning Management Software, Folio, is a great online resource for organizing your classes, staying up-to-date on announcements, and tracking due dates. Check out the “Documentation” tab on the page linked below for helpful resources.

Zoom
Zoom is available to all Georgia Southern students, faculty, and staff. This tool provides high quality audio and video, sharing capabilities, breakout rooms, and much more. Access the service through the MyGeorgiaSouthern portal.

Google Meet
Chat, video call, and join meetings from the Meet app or on your desktop.
Google Drive
Upload, store, and share an unlimited amount of documents, spreadsheets, and files. You can access Google Drive from anywhere, so storing and sharing files is a breeze.

Virtual Lab
We offer a virtual computer lab environment that closely mirrors our physical computer labs. If you need to access software but can’t make it to a campus lab, our virtual labs offer a convenient alternative.
VPN
Our Virtual Private Network (VPN) service is a timed connection that allows you to securely access resources like Banner (not WINGS), network drives, and other sensitive systems from off-campus locations. Click the link below to learn more about when and how to use this service.
Internet Access
ITS offers many resources to support virtual learning, teaching, and working. In addition to our Virtual Resources, we have begun collecting information regarding internet connectivity resources for those who may not have internet access.
Software Downloads
A number of software packages are available to download free of charge in the MyDownloads section of your MyGS portal. In addition to our typical offerings, we have been able to extend licensing for some software packages as part of the COVID-19 response.
Eagle Alert
In the event of an emergency or crisis, the Eagle Alert warning system keeps the University community informed with alert notifications.
Voicemail Access
The voicemail system used on the three Georgia Southern campuses offers many flexible options to help make sure you have access to your important messages, including receiving email notifications for your messages.
