Georgia Southern University recently announced it will hold its second annual Edcamp, a participant-driven professional development program for K-12 educators, on Saturday, April 22, at the College of Education on 1332 Southern Dr. in Statesboro, from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences’ (CLASS) 2017 Great Minds Lecture Series continues with Robert Batchelor, Ph.D., on Tuesday, March 7 at 5:30 p.m. as he discusses, “Plantation Dreams: Locke, Confucius and the Making of the Low Country.” The lecture will take place in the Russell Union, room 2047.

Student performance of ‘The Crucible’ opens Feb. 17
