Classical and jazz pianist virtuosos join for Piano in the Arts concert on Georgia Southern’s Armstrong Campus
Renowned classical pianist Benjamin Warsaw, DMA, assistant professor of music on Georgia Southern’s Armstrong Campus, and jazz pianist virtuoso, Joe Alterman, will join for a mixed-genre Piano in the Arts concert series performance, “Crossroads, Jazz Meets Classical.” The event will be held on March 3 at 3 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah.
Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus art students present senior exhibition
Georgia Southern University’s Senior Art Exhibition, “Reflections,” featuring pieces by five senior artists, will run from March 11 to 22 at the Fine Arts Gallery on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah. A reception will be held on March 15 at 5:30 p.m., and admission is free and open to the public.
Student directed black box show ‘Bright Ideas’ comes to Armstrong Campus
Georgia Southern University Armstrong Campus’ student-run theatre group, The Masquers are bringing dark comedy “Bright Ideas” to the Armstrong Campus for its final black box show of the season. The show will run from Thursday, Feb. 21 to Saturday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. at the Black Box Theatre in Jenkins Hall.
Piano in the Arts brings trumpet, piano duo to Armstrong Campus
Georgia Southern University’s Piano in the Arts will present “Music of the Americas,” by Duo Trompiano, featuring trumpeter Douglas Lindsey, D.M.A., and pianist Judy Cole. The concert will be Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium on the Armstrong Campus in Savannah.
