Savannah Wind Symphony opens season with concert on Armstrong Campus

Savannah Wind Symphony, a community symphony serving the Coastal Empire, will hold its first concert on the Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus in Savannah. The symphony is comprised of musicians from the greater Savannah area.

Armstrong Campus Chorale and Vocal Chamber Ensemble perform at 27th annual Memorial Concert

The Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus University Chorale and Vocal Chamber will perform in honor of J. Harry Persse, Ph.D., at the J. Harry Persse Memorial Concert on Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The concert is held annually to celebrate the legacy of J. Harry Persse, Ph.D., who was a musician, composer and educator at Armstrong State College in Savannah from 1965 to 1988.
