Clinical Training
Georgia Southern’s Counseling Center is a place for growth, including for our clients and future practitioners alike. Graduate students can gain invaluable hands-on experience assisting with service delivery in varying degrees.
Internship in Health Service Psychology
Our APA-accredited Internship in Health Service Psychology accepts four students a year. Interns engage in the practice of health service psychology gaining specialized skills related to collegiate mental health.
Practicum Training
The Counseling Center’s Practicum Training Program allows master’s- and doctoral-level candidates in mental health counseling or psychology to put their skills to work in a professional setting and fulfill practice requirements.
