Student research recognized during 2018 CURIO Symposium
Thirty undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Humanities and College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Georgia Southern University presented their research during the 2018 Center for Undergraduate Research and Intellectual Opportunities (CURIO) Symposium on April 10 at the Carroll Building on the Statesboro Campus.
Logistics and Supply Chain Management moves up in rankings
The Georgia Southern University Logistics and Supply Chain Management (L&SCM) department is ranked in the top 15 in the world by The SCM Journal List™ for empirically-focused research publications in leading supply chain management journals. Each year’s ranking is based on the research published in these journals during the prior five years. Ranking 15th out of 400+ programs, the L&SCM department is recognized for its continued excellence in research. The 2018 ranking is up seven spots from last year’s ranking.
Art seniors to showcase portfolios and capstone projects in upcoming exhibition
The Georgia Southern University Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art (BFSDoArt) will present the “BFA/BA 2018 Senior Exhibition” April 30 – May 7 at the Center for Art & Theatre’s Contemporary Gallery on the Statesboro Campus.
Celebrate Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day at Georgia Southern’s Armstrong Campus
The Georgia Southern University Armstrong Campus in Savannah will host a workshop for Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day from noon to 5 p.m, April 29, in Fine Arts Hall, room 211. The workshop is free and open to all ages and skill levels.

The Georgia Southern College of Business will host an open house on Tuesday, April 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. to provide more information on the accelerated Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree offered in Savannah, Georgia.
